The .dmg asks you to allow VPN Nepal once, the first time you connect. Click Open System Settings in the macOS alert, then Allow. The Mac App Store version does not ask.

Set up a router by hand with a config file from your console.
Store or direct download — it is the same app and the same account. Store versions update themselves; direct downloads tell you when a new version is out. Installing is free and needs no account. You will need an active plan to connect.
Browser protection, with or without the app
The extension sends that browser's traffic through a VPN Nepal server and leaves the rest of the device on its normal connection. Sign in inside the extension, pick a location, and browse — so you can protect your browsing alone, keep a second browser on the local network, or stay covered on a shared or work computer where you cannot install the app. No configuration file either way.
The Chrome version also installs in Edge, Brave and other Chromium browsers. An extension covers that one browser, not other apps on the computer.

We publish a SHA-256 fingerprint for every installer, along with a command you can paste to check it. Nothing is listed yet because no build has been released — a fingerprint you cannot verify against a real file would be worse than none.
